Description: Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based services to empower children and adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment. The agency, through its programs and services, encourages the inclusion of people with disabilities into the mainstream of society, including social, recreational, family and work activities.
The Per Diem Trainer will join a team of trainers responsible for teaching a wide range of participants, from all age groups with varying levels of technical abilities and people with disabilities, how to set up and navigate an on-line portal for approving timesheets and a mobile application for timesheet reporting. The training sessions will be in 2-hour increments between the hours of 9am and 8pm, Monday through Friday both, in-person and virtual. The Trainer will be facilitating the trainings in English and Spanish. The Facilitator will be responsible for becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) mobile application and portal. Experience with adult learning theory, technical trainings, and ease with audiences from all age groups-including elderly and learners with disabilities is a plus.

        • Facilitating in person and virtual technical training in English and Spanish using facilitator notes and a prepared presentation, with large audiences.
        • Working collaboratively with support staff who will ensure technical issues are supported, and questions are answered at the end of the training session.
        • Providing insights and feedback to the training team to continuously improve the learning experience.
        • Performing other related duties as needed.Competencies
          • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
          • Proficient in implementing effective training programs.
          • Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory.
          • Experience with delivering technical trainings
          • Strong conversational and written communication skills in English and Spanish
          • Strongly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
          • Comfortable working with all age ranges-including elderly, individuals with disabilities and varying comfort levels with technology.
          • Demonstrates clear understanding of key communications skills: active listening, clear articulation, confidence and empathy.
          • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a collaborative environment. Follows directions with ease. Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
          • Experience with training registration systems is preferred.
          • Some flexibility to work longer days, after hours or weekends. Required Education and Experience
            • 2+ years of training experience
