The successful candidate will join our dynamic legal team, providing expert legal services to our clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and domestic violence cases. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. You'll be part of a supportive team that values professional growth and development.Responsibilities:The Family Law Attorney will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of family law matters from start to finish, including:1. Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents related to family law matters.3. Conducting legal research and analysis to develop legal arguments and strategies.4. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations in family law matters.5. Collaborating with other members of the legal team to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.6. Keeping abreast of changes in family law and informing clients of any potential impacts on their cases.7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through regular communication and updates.8. Participating in business development activities to attract new clients and retain existing ones.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Family Law Attorney position will have:1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2. Active member of the Massachusetts State Bar.3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law practice, with a strong background in litigation and trial work.4. Proven track record of representing clients in family law cases in Massachusetts.5. Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.7. Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure.8. Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional ethics and integrity.9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.10. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.11.
