Our client, a dynamic and growing company in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an Office Manager. This company prides itself on delivering high-quality products to their clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Office Manager to join their team and help manage their office operations efficiently.
The Office Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. This position is responsible for supporting with administrative tasks, overseeing office staff, managing office supplies, and ensuring that the office environment remains organized and productive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office management, with a preference for experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly CNC or sheet metal.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management and supervision of office staff, including training and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinate office maintenance, supplies, and equipment needs.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for effective inventory and production management.
  • Support the Office Manager in developing and enforcing office policies and procedures.
  • Handle scheduling, appointments, and coordination of meetings for management.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Provide administrative support for various departments as needed.
  • Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, and financial records management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
    Qualifications:
    • 3-5 years of office management/administrative assistant/executive assistant experience is critical.
    • 3-5 years of experience working for a manufacturing company, preferably with sheet metal or CNC industry knowledge.
    • Experience with MRP systems is required.
    • High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
